It provides an ideal growing environment by allowing air and water to permeate, preventing overheating, excessive humidity, and condensation. This also means there's no need to take it off during the day or for watering. If exceptionally hot, slide cloth up a little on the side to get more air circulation, and close again at end of day. Alternatively, use 4m width bird netting in summer.
It provides 16% -18% shading and can give frost protection of 2-4 degrees Celsius, extending the growing season for your plants. Great to use in summer to slow down moisture loss from soil.

This high-quality cover is designed to be used directly over crops and plants, or over a garden cloche. You can also staple it to wooden garden structures and hold down with pins or rocks. With eyelets on each edge, you can easily pin down the sides without damaging the cloth.
